CREATING A DISTRESSED METAL BACKDROP

So…how do you turn an ugly, damaged and dented sheet of steel into a beautiful backdrop?

Quite easy 🙂

I sanded it down first to remove any protective layers. Then I used toilet cleaner, vinegar, steel wool and more sandpaper in random attacks until it looked great! It took a few days with toxic mixtures soaking over nights – then cleaned, inspected and reapplied daytime.
